This book looked and started sooo boring..but then I actually LOVED it!!! It was wonderful! I was kind of suspecting the twists but that actually kind of made it better! It was really good.

When I read the synopsis, I was like YUCK but the book was REALLY AMAZING. I read it really fast like the other WhitePine books that I LIKED. There was some insest but by the end, I was able to forget about it. Since this book is about adventure, I thought it was going to be long and draggy like some others I've read but it was REALLY interesting and kept me hooked. Sometimes I was worried that Mimi would get attacked though...lol

To be honest, I enjoyed the book better than I originally though I would, and I particularly enjoyed how Tim Wynne-Jones touched on certain taboo topics. It was a quick, decent read.
